SARS has introduced eDNA as a security measure in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions as well as to safeguard taxpayer information. This entails that your fingerprints will be captured and authenticated when visiting a SARS branch for certain services.

Our newly refurbished Giyani branch is situated in the Government Complex in the city. There is plenty of free parking for taxpayers to park their cars, and the branch is about 1.5 km away from major public transport drop-offs. Our friendly staff are competent in English, Xitsonga, Northern Sotho (Sepedi) and Tshivhenda and our busiest times during Tax Season (1 July – 31 October) are between 08h00 and 14h00. Convenience stores are 3 km away from the branch.
