SARS has introduced eDNA as a security measure in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions as well as to safeguard taxpayer information. This entails that your fingerprints will be captured and authenticated when visiting a SARS branch for certain services.

The town of Worcester is located 120 km north-east of Cape Town in the Western Cape, and is the largest town in the Western Cape interior region. Staff at this branch is fluent in Afrikaans and isiXhosa. During Tax Season (1 July – 31 October), the branch is usually at its busiest between 09h00 and 14h00. Public transport pick-up and drop-off points are less than a kilometre away from the branch. Our branch is user-friendly to the disabled and elderly, and although the branch does not have parking space for taxpayers, there is parking available in front of the building and in the side streets. The convenient location, in the central business district of Worcester, makes for easy access to banks and stores.
