Request to minimize visits to SARS offices

Request to minimize visits to SARS offices

Pretoria, 15 December 2020 – The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has noted with appreciation the address by His Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa, on 14 December 2020 on the second wave of the corona virus (COVID-19) that has engulfed our country.
In light of the worsening COVID19 pandemic, SARS is imploring taxpayers to minimize visits to our offices and preferably engage with SARS through electronic channels such as eFiling, the SARS MobiApp, the website www.sars.gov.za and the SARS Online Query System,. This will help to protect both taxpayers and SARS staff while ensuring that we all observe COVID-19 protocols and regulations.
