SARS has introduced eDNA as a security measure in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions as well as to safeguard taxpayer information. This entails that your fingerprints will be captured and authenticated when visiting a SARS branch for certain services.
See eDNA Identity Security for more information.
The Polokwane branch is situated in a major urban centre of Polokwane, the biggest and most important north of Gauteng and the capital city of the Limpopo province. Our friendly staff at this branch speak all official languages, and during Tax Season (1 July – 31 October), the branch is at its busiest in the mornings between 09h00 and 11h00 and in the afternoons between 15h00 and 16h00. The number of taxpayers tends to soar during school holidays due to the high number of teachers visiting the branch. There is no parking available to taxpayers at the branch; however, taxpayers can use paid parking across the road from the branch. Visitors with disabilities are catered for at the branch. Since the branch is situated at the heart of the city, access to major banks, take-away stores, restaurants and public transportation is easy.
